It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closing of The Rutherford House. This organization has a rich history, loyal members, and great memories that will not be forgotten. Brie Anderson, the previous Executive Director is working on the Board of Directors to help facilitate the dissolution and will have limited access to email and phone. If you know any members who do not utilize FaceBook or the internet, please inform them. Board members will also try to reach out via mail, email, and phone calls to members. Thank you to all of our members, volunteers, contractors, and employees over the years who made The Rutherford House a place to make friends, continue to learn, participate in hobbies, connect with the community, and celebrate and embrace life in older adulthood. In the event that you or someone you know needs resources or information, please contact the Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging at 717-780-6130. Thank you.
