The Rutherford House will be closing operations temporarily due to the Coronavirus effective Monday, March 16, 2020. We take the health and wellness of our members seriously and have a response plan in place that states:
"If a pandemic occurs that has been identified as having a direct impact on older adults and/or the entire community, The Rutherford House will institute a precautionary closure. This action will be guided by information provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging."

The Rutherford House is a community center located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for independent adults aged 55 and over. Our core mission is to foster the necessary social and physical skills for maintaining ongoing independence through quality programming and a supportive, inclusive environment. We are dedicated to providing exceptional recreational programs and special events to our active members.
